Self taught, Charles Harry Eaton exhibited widely at major East Coast venues during his active painting years from 1880 to 1900, winning medals along the way. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society, and the Boston Art Club, among others. This work is similar in size and subject matter to the one he exhibited at the Chicago World's Fair, 1893. |
